Another blog entry by me today,hope you're feeling fine..

The third week of school has past and I am feeling a little stressed out already...must be the homework or maybe something else(hmm...like what?)Ok let's continue,well I did okay and I have loads of homework which I have done...halfway.Well I think I still enjoy the classes at school even though we have lots of homework.I woke up this morning and guess what..my left eye was swollen maybe due to the way I positioned my head when I'm asleep but..it has already subside now.

As I was saying,Thursday and Friday was just like any other ordinary day and I had fun.On Friday we had balloons as a shuttlecock for badminton during P.E. and it was quite scary for me as I was afraid that the balloons might burst but lucky for me mine did not burst and I think the rest of them also did not have their balloons bu r st too.I'm sorry if this post is too short as my computer time is over and I need to shut down the computer and by the way hope all of you had a great weekend so see ya soon.bye!

What is graciousness

Graciousness is about having kindness and warm courtesy, a merciful or compassionate nature.It is about being condescendingly courteous and indulgent.It can be characterized by charm,beauty or graceful,elegance and good taste.Enjoying favor or grace; acceptable or pleasing.Graciousness is the excellence of manners or social conduct or even the quality of being kind and gentle.If you are an ungracious person,you have an offensive lack of good manners.Before being gracious to others, you must be gracious to yourself.

Why is it important for the society to embrace the value of graciousness

Graciousness is about being respectful and if your family,friends or even everyone in the society does not embrace the value of graciousness,it will turn to a disaster! There will be no peace, but if almost everyone does embrace the value of graciousness you can see that people around you will always be smiling maybe not always but most of the time they will.And with that everyone will be considerate, agreeable and they will feel very calm...comfortable and pleasant.

Gracious acts

My mum has once shared with me that her ex-colleague was a blind person and she would help him to get home everyday.As he took a bus home and could not see the bus number, my mum would help him identify the bus he should take and help him up the bus.The next one is something I experience with my sister which happened last year in December.But it is only a very small act but I think its okay to share.Well, my sister and I were going to fetch my other sister when and old woman came.I know that I'm not supposed to talk to strangers but she seemed nice and my sister and I decided to help her.She was just asking us about the location of a certain block which was around my area.So, we showed her the way to the block using our hands which was giving directions and...oh you know.. and she thanked us in Chinese which we were not familiar with but we understood as it was such a simple word.And so I think that's the end.

Sorry I'm late for reporting about the things I did in school on Friday,yesterday and today! Well...on Firday,the first thing we had in the morning was...P.E.! I can't exactly remember what we played but whatever it was i'm guessing it was fun! Followed by H.E. and it was an extremely fun and i'll say it again 'FUN' class!I think i almost laughed my heads off! Then it was Maths.It was okay...not so bad...well actually it was a little...umm you know...but maths lovers will find it interesting of course!Like duh!Next was M.T. but i'll skip that for today as i can't remember what we did.Then it was RECESS! Peeeeeeeeeeep! Recess was over and it was computer lab time! yipee! Science was next and after that was my home.

Now I shall move on to yesterday and it was terrible as there some parts of my body were itching but life needs to move on right?so i endured the itch till the end of the day (so sad...).Okay...wait just give me sec to refresh my mind...oh ya we had maths for the first period if i'm not wrong and it was most of the time silent and everyone with a serious face on. What a weird note to start off the day.Well anyway,we had M.T. and i can tell you that my hand was still so itchy *scratch scratch*.Then SS then recess.Art was next and i had to present it to the class and it was so scary to stand in front of the class and saying out some words to describe my artwork but it was kind of fun though.And then it was English.We had some homework to bring back home to do so that's it!

Let's talk about today now alright...i think i'll begin talking about P.E. Oh well we did some throwing of balls as a practice of our badminton skills and stuff like that...and then another class of relaxing music. I think that singing is a fun thing to do but then again i didn't see many singing during music which was just now.Mr Oh's period was next which was SS and he took some of our work to show to the class mine was one of them even though i didn't write much.Then during maths we went through our homework and such.After recess was M.T. and we had a group discussion on writing a beginning for a composition.It was quite a fun session with my group members/friends we kept laughing as the boys in my group were making funny noises for the sound effect when presenting our composition to the class.Followed by English and we did some reading and writing on the comprehension and had the article review as homework.

Hmm...today was a good day for me as the first thing in the morning we had the prefect's investiture and for me it was exciting but I was nervous as I had said in the previous journal.We had our heoght and weight taken today and I grew 3cm taller and 1.5kg "fatter".We did some group discussion today and earn some points for our group.I did some peer marking during MT on composition and surprisingly it was quite fun being the teacher and finding mistakes in our friends' essays.So...I think this are some interesting things that happened today so see ya!

Okay...school started with Math for the first period and it was not too bad but I felt quite restless then.Mother tongue was next and we had to write an essay in 50mins and I suceeded!Yay!Then there was Read.It was quite fun to listen to others reading as the way some of them express their words were kind of...funny! Today,we have only Grammar and also my Math for homework and I have completed it all! :)

In science class,we did some activities and the prefects were allowed to leave the class earlier(yahooo!) due to the Prefect's investiture or was it investure, oh well..whatever it is,it was only a rehersal but tomorrow is the BIG day! Even though I have been a prefect for two years,I'm still nervous but it is exciting though to stand on stage.Once in p4,I was too nervous plus excited I had high fever right after the pledge.It may sound funny but its true...I hope it won't happen again this year and this will be my last time becoming a prefect in Admiralty Primary School(so sad...).That's the end of my fun and sad story for today!

Hi all...today is the second day of the week and I have bad news as it is about me and if its about me, most of the time its about my carelessness.As I was saying, the bad news was that I kind of forgot to bring my spectacles along with me but with a good reason.I was in a hurry and you know, you may tend to forget things and that was what that happened to me.

Next, was P.E. and I can tell you that it was extremely FUN! We got to play with another class the game,"one leg".There were one or two people who were hurt but not so bad and I suppose they should be feeling better now.We had music for the next period and I had some trouble looking at the screen as it was quite blur without my specs(short for spectacles) but luckily I had a helpful friend that kindly told me what was on the screen and I appreciate it,Thanks to the person who help me,who is Ruo Fan.:)

And today I have three homework which is the English article review,my malay homework and my social studies.I have not finish my homework at this point of time as I am still in the midst of doing it.So now,I need to end this blog entry so that I can continue doing my homework.

Yesterday's journal

Well...we did quite a number of things yesterday.So to shorten it,we had english, math, art,mother tongue and such.During English class,Mdm Yeo went through the grades for assignments that she gave for example this journal blog and she commented that Chelsy's blog was AMAZING and I agree. It was BOOMBASTIC! But too bad she wasn't at school.(boo hoo..)Yesterday was exciting even though I felt a little feverish after recess.Umm...but anyway everthing else went well.So...school was okay and it was pretty much fun.

Now,I'm feeling soooo bored and I'm trying to entertain myself by singing a phrase from the Sister Act 2. I'm not sure if you know it but here's how it goes..."If you wanna be somebody, if you wanna go somewhere, you better wake up and pay..attention.."

So I think its goodbye for now...

In December,I followed my mum to the school to purchase school books.At the same time,my mum went to see Mr Ramesh,the vice principal of the school,regarding some matters.Hooray!!!I was overjoyed the moment I found out that Mdm Yeo was going to be the form teacher of 6 Courage this year.Since then,I have been looking forward for school and counting days to a brand new day to start the journey of my last year of my primary school life.

Everybody seemed to be adjusting and settling themselves after such a long school break...I can see some familiar faces from last year,and of course new ones from other classes joining our journey.I was surprised to see Mdm Yeo with her new haircut but I liked it.There were jokers in the class that made us have a good laugh for a start and more lively as everyone was looking so serious.It was FUN! Mdm Yeo broght us to the computer lab to create a thinkquest account for those who were not from P5 Courage last year.In my group,I was the only one who knew about the thinkquest and that's where my service was needed to help the others with it.I am always happy to help.After that,we met our Mother Tongue and Social Studies teacher,Mdm Noor and Mr Oh who apparently teaches me Maths.Then,there was a loud sound.Riiiiiiiiiiinnnnnngggggg!Its time for 'home sweet home'...I'm glad that the first day ends pretty well and I can't wait to tell my mum about it.I'm Nurul Amirah Ali,reporting from Woodlands Crescent.

The second day,we had P.E. right after the morning assembly and it was instructed by Mr Tan.Phew! It was a refreshing start for me to rejuvenate myself after a month of not exercising regularly.After a workout,we had music lesson to soothe ourselves down,followed by Maths.During recess,I met up with some friends and had a chat.Ending the school day with English class where we were given a class assignment to be discussed within our group members regarding our class VVM(Values,Vision & Mission). Finally,anxiously heading home to have one of my favourite mum's cooking - chicken curry. Yummy!!!

The third day was a blast! There were some personnels from the SMRT who came into our school to take photos of us for our Smart-card and took up the periods before recess.We had all Mdm Yeo's periods after recess as we had not gotten our Science banding yet and Mdm Yeo had asked us to do this journal and here I am.The school day ended and I went back home with my mum and sis.
